1.  An opportunity to impact others.

An opportunity to impact others.

If your short-term mission experience allows you to develop a close relationship with someone in the host country, you could have a profound effect on another person. God has designed us to be intensely relational beings. When we purposefully get together with someone who is different from ourselves with the intention and expectation of really getting to know them, stuff happens. The gospel happens. The indomitably curious human spirit takes over and we twist our lives together in a way that allows the gospel to come in an incarnate form. Remember, there are still a two billion people on earth who have yet to hear the good news for the very first time. Let Jesus live through you naturally as you express his love, care,  joy, and values in the context of relationship.

2.  Feed Back

Greetings Dana Weller,

just a note to let you know that Rachel Bechtel from the Lebanon Bible Fellowship Church will be doing summer missionary work for Lebanon Child Evangelism. This will involve 5 day clubs, and day camps. She will have to attend 2 weeks of training at the beginning of the summer. She will be under the direction of Ralph Bechtel who is the director of Child Evangelism in Lebanon County.  Please pray for Rachel, and the Lords direction in her life. She has already registered for BOM RWR in November.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

 Mrs.James L. Bechtel

Keep those letters rolling in!!!

 WORLDWIDE DAY OF PRAYER FOR CHILDREN AT RISK SET FOR JUNE 7

One-third of the world's population -- 1.8 billion children -- is under the age of 15. Of these:

17 million children die from malnutrition and starvation each year;

10 million are involved in the sex industry;

100 million live on the streets;

200 million are exploited as child laborers.

Since 1996 Viva Network has been organizing the annual Worldwide Day of Prayer for Children at Risk. This year's event is set for Saturday, June 7.

For more information visit www.viva.org.

Get the message out.  This is a great opportunity for your youth group to grapple with the hard facts of life for kids around the world.

TEENS LEAD HUNDREDS TO CHRIST DURING OUTREACH IN MALAWI

Twelve young men with Teen Missions International recently saw an incredible harvest in Malawi. The Malawian nationals from the Bible, Missionary and Work Training Center went out two-by-two to share the gospel. Traveling with nothing but their clothes and a Bible, they led a total of 806 people to Christ during the weeklong campaign. (Mission Network News)

6.  SCREEN SAVERS FOR EVANGELISM

The monitor screen sitting on your desk is a valuable teaching tool. Meanwhile, screen savers have evolved in many directions, often to enliven the working environment, sometimes to advertise products. But can a screen saver be used for evangelism? Obviously non-Christians are unlikely to install an evangelistic screen saver themselves. But a new screen saver has been released which Christians can use at work, which rather than preaching, is designed to intrigue and be a conversation starter.

Check it out!

7.  Final Thought

The readership of Let’s Fish is now at 157 and grows each week.

There are 29 recorded short term ministries originating in the BFC.

There are 16 different BF Churches involved.

God is doing something unique in the BFC.  The ball is now in our court.  It is imperative to be well prepared because YOU are an ambassador for the Kingdom.

Paul said:

We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.

 Every one of you teens or adults must be fully prepared for such a task.  You have a unique opportunity to represent Christ.  Don’t drop the ball!

Most of all, Keep Fishing!

Dana
