Participants at this year’s RWR came
from as far away as Rumney, NH and
Switzerland! Six different churches
were represented.
Some things learned this year
were:
Girls are noisier than boys
Cleaning bathrooms really
isn’t that bad!
Pinebrook has lots of leaves
to rake!
The dishwasher does a lousy
job of cleaning eggs from
plates.
Missionaries can be young
and fun!
Boy’s room really reeks!
New Hampshire is really part
of the USA!
Pinebrook’s food is GREAT!
Small ice cream cups are
quite large!
Switzerland isn’t in Africa!
In study we learned:
Missions has not taken place
until words are spoken.
Your place in missions is
centered around your God given
gift.
Look for opportunities to
serve in the Kingdom. They
hardly ever are at opportune
times.
Volunteer often, but
volunteer in areas of your
gifts, abilities, and
experiences.
Your words are more
effective in evangelism than
creation and the Scriptures.
Give your body to God. A
holy and acceptable sacrifice!
The following lyrics by Keith
Green are worth your read. Take the
time to comprehend the deep truth of
this song;
Jesus Commands Us To
Go
Jesus commands us to go,
but we go the other way.
So He carries the burden alone,
While His children are busy at
play,
Feeling so called to stay.
Oh, how God grieves and
believes that the world can't be
saved,
Unless the ones He's appointed
obeys,
His command and His stand for
the world,
That He loved more than life.
Oh He died, and he cries out
tonight.
Jesus commands us to go,
It should be the exception if we
stay.
It's no wonder we're moving so
slow,
When His church refuses to obey,
Feeling so called to stay.
Oh how God comes, as He
starts the great judgment of
fire,
So He can gain, His Greatest
desire.
Cause He knows that the souls of
the lost,
They can only be reached,
through us,
We're His hands and His feet.
Jesus commands us to go,
It should be the exception if we
stay.
It's no wonder we're moving so
slow,
When God's children refuse to
obey,
Feeling so called to stay.

Urbana
2006
URBANA 2006 December 27-31, 2006
URBANA is only 397 days away.
NOW is the time to begin to plan for
this great experience. There is no
getting around the fact that URBANA is
expensive. If you immediately begin a
consistent savings plan there is no
reason why this important missions
conference should be out of your reach.
“At Urbana 84 the world
suddenly opened up for me.
I heard about what God was doing all
over the world,
including in cities. I was cut to
the heart and felt very
strongly God’s Holy Spirit calling
me. I look back at Urbana with
gratefulness because I wonder if I
would be serving overseas today if
it hadn’t been for the challenge
that Urbana provided.”
-Mary Ellen (Urbana 84 Participant)
Urbana offers a multiplicity of
experiences and opportunities under one
roof. Participants hear the word of God,
learn about the current state of global
missions, worship and study with
thousands in a diverse gathering of
world Christians, and interact with
hundreds of different missionaries and
agency
representatives. Anyone who is serious
about discovering their place in God’s
mission will benefit from Urbana 06’s
program and the abundant resources
present.

Happy
Thanksgiving!
Look around you.
What do you have? Perhaps from where you
are sitting you can see some of the
tangible evidences of the American good
life:
The computer you are now using
The TV on the entertainment
shelf
DVD VCR Electronic game box etc.
Treadmill, weight set other
health equipment
Just out of sight is a car or
two and many other items that we
enjoy.
Then there are the more important
items;
Warm home
Good family
Frig full of food
Comfortable bed
Church family
Good health
Finally the most
important
Salvation in Christ!
Don’t allow love to turn into
lust, setting off a downhill slide into
sexual promiscuity, filthy practices, or
bullying greed. Though some tongues just
love the taste of gossip, Christians
have better uses for language than that.
Don’t talk dirty or silly. That kind of
talk doesn’t fit our style. Thanksgiving
is our dialect. Eph. 5:3-4 The
Message
Have a Fantastic Thanksgiving!
