EL FARO - ESL

HELP WANTED Teach English in your own backyard! EL FARO [LIGHTHOUSE BFC - ALLENTOWN, PA] is seeking individuals to serve as Coordinator and Instructors for an ESL class. Operation Christmas Child - Dec 3 to 7

Join thousands of volunteers at the Processing Center in Charlotte, NC preparing the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes of gifts for shipping. Trip participants will volunteer at PC: Thursday and Saturday all day; Friday AM and PM. Trip includes 4 nights in hotel, two dinners and breakfasts. Individuals/groups responsible for own transportation. Trip prices range from $405/single to $135/quad per person. $100 deposit by September 5, remaining by Oct. 1.

SHORT TERM MISSION OPPORTUNITY JANUARY 9 - 23, 2009 CHIANG MAI, THAILAND

Family Education Conference sponsored by the Asia Educational Resource Consortium (AERC). There will be over 200 children. The children's program is led by a coordinator who plans the program, and we will fit in where we can best be used. The conference runs from January 14 - 16, and our team has been invited to minister at Grace International School after that as well. Our BFC missionaries Scott and Jennifer Tibbetts will be serving at that school while we are there. With so many children in the program, there is need for many volunteers. Lois Draper , retired BFC/AIM missionary, is leading the team. So far 5 people have signed up to go, and many more are needed.

The Fold - Vermont

Here at The Fold we still have a need for some staff, specifically some single men and single women who want to work with teens. The Fold Family Ministries is looking for a single woman to become a mentor, discipler at our Girls Home. We are also looking for a single man to be a mentor, discipler at our Boys Home. These positions come with a salary, healthcare benefits, and room and board. Salary can be supplemented with personal support as well. These are great opportunities for someone interested in working with teens in a youth ministry or counseling setting. Our activities are quite diverse and there is a great opportunity to impact teens for Jesus. These are not your typical hardend - violent teens, but kids in need of love and mentoring. I can personally testify to the fact that you will see lives changed through the investment of your gifts and abilities in teens at The Fold www.thefoldinc.org.
